2 weeks to go until AUSkey is turned off!
Are you ready for the transition to myGovID and RAM?
Communities across Australia continue to be threatened and impacted by elevated fire conditions, ongoing bushfires and other natural disasters.
It’s that time of the year where have an opportunity to reflect on the past year and celebrate our joint achievements.
As you are aware, the way you access the Data Exchange is changing as AUSkey will be decommissioned on 31 March 2020. The Data Exchange will be transitioning to myGovID and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).
myGovID proves who you are as an individual, while RAM authorises you to act on behalf of an organisation when using online government services.
In preparation for the transition from AUSkey to myGovID/RAM, organisations will soon see a new screen when they log into the Data Exchange.
We are sending you this important information, as a user of the Department of Social Services' Data Exchange. This message is to inform you about the replacement of AUSkey with a new digital identity called myGovID.
We are excited to announce that the new user friendly Data Exchange website will be launched on Monday 28 October 2019. We would like to extend our thanks to organisations for their collaboration during its development.
AUSkey will be decommissioned on 31 March 2020 and the Data Exchange will be transitioning to new authentication methods. We are currently working closely with the Australian Taxation Office on a new, more flexible and mobile authentication and authorisation solution for our organisations to meet community expectations for better access to government services.
