New Reporting Period
We would like to thank all organisations that submitted their July - December 2023 data before the system closed on 30 January 2024.
We would also like to remind everyone the January - June 2024 reporting period is well underway.
We encourage you to report regularly throughout the reporting period to avoid not getting your data in on time. Reporting regularly also allows you time to monitor your data quality and amend any errors before the reporting period closes. Please see the Organisation Data Quality Report fact sheet, and review our training resources for more tips.
Gender Values Changes
From 2 March 2024, the following gender values changes will come into effect:
- Man or male (Code 1)
- Woman or female (Code 2)
- Non-binary (Code 3)
- [I/They] use a different term (Code 3)
- Not stated (Code 9).
This replaces the current values of:
- Male (Code 1)
- Female (Code 2)
- Intersex / Indeterminate (Code 3)
- Not stated or inadequately described (Code 9)

Data Exchange Planned Maintenance
A software upgrade of the Data Exchange website is planned between 10:30pm Saturday 10 February to 2:00am Sunday 11 February 2024 AEDT. You may experience issues with accessing the website during this time.
A Data Exchange system outage is planned for 2 March 2024. Further details will be provided closer to this date.
