End of Reporting Period
As the end of year approaches, we would like to remind you, there is one month left until the July-December reporting period ends.
An additional 30 days after the close of the reporting period are provided for quality assurance and upload purposes. However, the earlier you organise your data entry the more time you have to resolve any unexpected issues.
Two common issues to resolve now:
- Do staff have the appropriate access to enter data? Data Exchange access can be created by existing Organisation Administrators in the Web-based portal (see steps described in the ‘Add and edit a user’ task card). Requests for access submitted to the Data Exchange Helpdesk may take up to 10 business days to process. Individual account holders must have their Digital Identity (myGovID) and the organisation’s principal authority needs to authorise their staff before they can access the DEX Portal on behalf of the organisation.
- Have your outlets changed? Please review your outlets to ensure they are current and have the relevant program activities attached. Adding new outlets can also take up to 10 business days. There is a task card on the DEX website to help with managing your outlets.

Data Exchange Planned Maintenance
The Data Exchange system will be unavailable from 8:00pm Saturday 2 December to 10.00am Sunday 3 December 2023 AEDT. Users will not be able to access or upload data into the Data Exchange during this time.
