Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) – specific DEX Protocols and Program Specific Guidance

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing’s Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) helps older Australians access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home.

The Data Exchange Protocols for the Commonwealth Home Support Program is a specific support manual which provides practical information for managers and front-line staff to integrate data definitions and requirements into existing administrative practices.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important CHSP Providers adhere to these Protocols because they contain the specific privacy notices in relation to the collection and reporting of clients’ My Aged Care IDs.
