National Cyber Security Awareness Month
October is National Cyber Security Awareness month. This year’s theme is ‘Be cyber wise– don’t compromise’.
There are 4 simple steps you can take to be cyber wise and significantly boost your cyber security:
- Update your devices regularly
- Turn on multi-factor authentication
- Back up your important files
- Use passphrases and password managers
If your organisation becomes aware of any security or privacy breaches you must notify your Funding Arrangement Manager as soon as possible, even if you do not believe it impacts the Data Exchange. For further information, please refer to the Data Exchange Protocols.
