The Data Exchange (DEX) – Organisation Data Quality Report Training – January 2026

Hello everybody.
Today I'm going to go through the Organisational Data Quality Report that's available in Qlik.
This report highlights key data quality issues to assist you improve or maintain data quality.
The report shows how data quality is changing over the last four years and how it varies across outlets.
It may also assist identify data quality practices and where attention may be required.
Data from the report can be downloaded for further offline analysis.
Client and session records are also provided to assist with this.
The report looks fundamentally at issues with low quality SLK information, poorly stated demographics and clients that are not identified with an attendance.
The User Guide tab provides an overview of the report, including the reporting period, links to training resources, the report version, the frequency of data refreshes, and the last successful extract date.
The Information tab provides a glossary of terms and change history for the app.
Before jumping into the details of each report, jump into the filters tab to set up your filters to help you narrow down the details you're looking for and looking at exploring to reduce report load times.
As there are many filters available, they are grouped into categories to help you locate what you're looking for.
For example, client type, geography, etcetera.
The Data Quality Health Check Report provides trend information for issues, both the number of occurrences and percentage of clients related to issues with low quality SLK information, poorly stated demographics, or clients that are not identified with an attendance.
The bar charts below Each of the trend charts above shows a breakdown at a state level.
The Statistical Linkage Key Report, or the SLK Report, provides further insights into the SLK issues.
These include factors contributing to low quality SLKs, shown as KPIs, a summary of performance by outlet, shown as a table, and a comparison of performance across each outlet by activities shown as a distribution chart.
The not stated demographic report provides further insights into the poorly stated demographic information.
This includes factors contributing to this measure, for example, missing responses to key demographic questions shown as a trend line.

And a comparison of performance across each outlet by activity, shown as a distribution chart.
The specifics of each trended issue is also shown at the bottom.
The unidentified group clients report shows further insights into unidentified clients attending sessions.
These include factors contributing to this measure, a summary of performance by outlet shown as a table, and a comparison of performance across each outlet by activity shown as a distribution chart.
The low quality SLK report shows specific examples in a table of the data that has been flagged as problematic in the creation of an SLK.
Issues are highlighted in red.
The heat map on the bottom left shows a summary of the number of records by their corresponding number of contributing factors, e.g.
The number of records with five contributing factors contributing to a low quality SLK is three.
The not stated details report shows specific details in a table of the data that has not stated demographics.
Issues once again are highlighted in red.
The heat map on the bottom left shows a summary of the number of records, by their corresponding number of contributing factors.
For example, the number of records with five contributing factors to a not stated demographic are 28.
The unidentified client details report shows specific examples in a table of the data where sole attendees is unidentified.
Sessions with only support persons report show specific examples in a table of the data where only the support person attended.
The chart on the left has a trend line.
And finally, the sessions before date of birth shows specific examples in a table of the data where the sessions occurred prior to their date of birth.
The data on the left shows a trend line.
